A huge thanks to Kali for taking our maternity pictures (and in a couple weeks our family pictures). We were blessed by the experience in general and couldn't have asked for more perfect pictures and moments that were captured! You were amazing to work with and it was so easy and simple! I couldn't imagine sharing this moment and opportunity with anyone else! When we got our CD, Clark and I were so excited to see it! We opened it up and it brought tears to my eyes. The pictures were perfection. We love your work and can't wait to work with you more and more!!!

We have been so blessed to be able to have Kali take our photos for two years now. She has chosen gorgeous locations, and is really able to capture our family for who we are. It is so easy to work with her as she makes us all feel totally comfortable the entire photoshoot and the best part. ...she's able too make our three year old smile!!! She always turns around our photos so quickly and the end result always surpasses our expectations. So thankful for our dear friend who has such a gift and is willing to share it with us.

I've spent years of admiring Kali's work while looking at photos of a friend's milestones of two pregnancies and two babies. I was so impressed by the use of the sun as lighting, beautiful scenery and natural looking poses, that I couldn't wait to hire her for my milestone events.
When I got engaged, one of the first things I did was contact Kali. Literally. We're talking about EIGHT DAYS after he popped the question! She was the ONE thing I was 100% sure I wanted (aside from my fiancé, of course!).
It was important for me to have trees in my photos, and she found the PERFECT location. During the shoot, she gave us just the right amount of direction. I've worked with photographers who gave out way too little information, and some that gave way too much, and in both cases, the photos ended up looking stiff and somehow not like "us" at all. Kali was able to capture who we are individually, and who were are as a couple, without looking cheesy or campy in any way. In addition to the tree-laden area we wanted, Kali recommended that we head out to an open space that she had scouted ahead of time, and I am so glad that she did. Those shots of rolling hills and open fields were a great counterpoint to the "private" feeling of the trees.
[...] Kali emailed me the link to the photos. This made it SUPER easy to upload them to a book making site to create our guestbook for the wedding. There were lots of "favorites" for me, so putting together a book with only 20 pages was a challenge, but it was well worth it because the photos looked even better printed than they did on the computer screen!
Everyone who's seen our photos remarks how beautiful they are, and they "ooh" and "aah" as they comment on how intimate they looked. Many ask for copies right away. I personally want about 50 copies of my own so I can see how good she made us look on my "blah" days.
I have literally waited YEARS to work with Kali, and I know that for every milestone from here on, I will be contacting her to document the most important times in my life.

I've used Kali for every huge milestone now in my life. From my wedding, to maternity photos, my little girl's newborn photos, and my family's very first photo session. She has captured moments that I will never forget, and thankfully because of her, will always be able to look back on in a photo. Kali has a vision like no one else, I told her what my thoughts were and she made them come to life with her talent, from catching the right angles, the lighting, to positioning, and all that's in between. A photographer goddess! She also knows so many great areas to shoot in order for me to get the exact image I wanted. Kali completely worked with my schedule (and was patient with us when we ran late.) My wedding day she took her entire day to catch moments of me getting ready, all the way up to the bouquet toss at the end of the night. To top it off her pricing is so competitive and reasonable, especially for the quality she has never failed to give me. Above all, Kali is personable, caring, and an utmost beautiful person from the inside out. She has made me nothing less but completely ecstatic and satisfied every time I've used her! I highly recommend her and am pleased to say she'll be my photographer for life! We adore her!

Kali is an extremely professional photographer. Punctual, prepared and a delight to work with. Her pictures and eye for detail are absolutely remarkable. She coordinates scouting sessions of locations so well, that when it comes down to the shoot itself it is simple, gorgeous and most of all FUN! We used her for our engagement shoot on Ventura Beach and our wedding in Georgia. People still say these are the best wedding photos they have ever seen!
Her professionalism is matched only by her charm. Kali has a knack for making everyone feel not only completely comfortable, but alive in the moment. Whether the occasion is romantic, playful, or momentous, Kali captures the true spirit of any event masterfully. She has the most infectious personality as well, putting smiles on the faces of everyone from the youngest infants to the most seasoned grandparents and everyone in between.

For the past two years Kali has captured such amazing photos of our family. At our first session she graciously and quite remarkably, moved us the six of us to various locations at a lovely park in Thousand Oaks. Our three boys and young daughter did not complain at all during the session, because Kali kept us moving and smiling. When I received the proofs I was completely thrilled and astounded at the quality and number of amazing shots.
Last year we had two additional children with us who we were fostering. At that session we met up at the nearby national park. Once again, Kali was able to direct the now eight of us to various locations. Before the session I had asked for specific photos in mind and Kali honored my requests. The session went by quickly, with little complaints from all the kids. Once again when I received the proofs I was struck by Kali’s artistry and excellence. I wholeheartedly and absolutely recommend Kali to you.
